Ive been under-going a period of self-exploration and self-discipline. I explore myself by examining my dreams and, more importantly, objectively examining my own thought process and emotions as i bring up memories, etc. i keep a journal for this. An inscription at the temple at Delphi reads, Know thyself. Self-discipline, and the development of Will, is accomplished by making myself do things i dont feel like doing, and by restraining myself from the things i crave. This reminds me of the Kabbalistic symbolism of Jacob wrestling with the Angel. Will is developed by the friction of opposing forces. I thought i would share the things i do for spiritual development. Self-knowledge and self-control.
