Ive been waiting for the right time to announce a couple things and it seems like today, the eve of Market Days and Promo Only Summer Sessions is perfect. First, I would like to formally welcome Dj Ron to our programming team. Dj Ron is a former writer for Dance.about, he is currently a contributor for ClubPlanet, notabledance, he is a billboard reporting DJ and now Im happy to say music director here at Fusion Radio. My goal with Ron and Kyles help is to steer Fusion back to its roots and reconnect with Fusions early listeners, while also helping create something special for those EDM and festival followers with the help of our long time master-raver Keith and Scott Pritchard. The new channel will be called Fusion Raveo, and Im really excited about it. Were basically creating something different between those hardcore EDM followers which may lean towards more Trance and Big Room House and Fusions vocal house audience. Fusion Raveo will launch on October 1st, along with an alternative focused channel Fusion Alternative in partnership with Chicagos WARG 88.9s former station manager and host Todd Michaels. Our network web site (fusion.fm) has really taken a life of its own recently, and will become consolidated into a single easy to use interface that people familiar with our Cloud Player will understand (Visit dev.fusion.fm for an example). The Cloud Player will also become the engine behind the new Android App, the iphone app and a new Adobe Air App that will run on both Windows and MAC OS. All with (finally) commercial free access right from the app and web player. Now lets get back to work! Thank you!
