Ive been watching hours of Dr. Phil today and subhanAllah there are so many corrupt people in our societies. There are sick people out there, I fear for my future kids if God blesses me with kids. I really couldnt believe some of the things I was watching. There is a huge crisis, I kept on questioning these peoples actions and wondering dont they believe that they will one day be accountable for their actions. There is a lack of understanding to the meaning of life. Like Tariq Ramadan has mentioned in one of his lectures when he was asked what can Islam bring to the West. He replied that it can bring three advantages, and one of them is people understanding the meaning of life, having a purpose. Weve come to a sad reality that we really dont understand who we are and our purpose in this life. I hope that this can gradually be changed as we progress in life by contemplating and reflecting about our existence.
