Ive been watching this plant get ready to bloom all week... Finally its time! Im driving home from Bingo anticipating the bloom and see signs for a DUI check point. No problem. My turn is the last one before the check. Make my turn and notice a sheriffs car promptly turn around and follow me. I keep driving and pull into the Church parking lot where the flower is. Holy mother of God. The Sheriff lights my car up with his light and ask, What are you doing? The Church isnt open. Poor Sheriff... I blabber on and on about the flower that only blooms at night and tonights the night. He shined his bright light on the flower and I think he rolled his eyes. Hmmm... no excitement for the Sheriff, just a senior citizen coming home from Bingo taking pictures of a flower. Best stop I ever had. Dullest stop the Sheriff ever had.
