Ive been working on Legend, most of the day. A half hour ago I wrote Mike LaChance, Frenchys son: Its ten after 8, Pacific time, and I am powering away here, and I feel like your Dad is here beside me saying, Get it done! Get the damn thing done... Its been a battle, but nothing like hes been through. Just had to share. Just had this distinct boost, and inspiration. And, I know its Frenchy. ... I hit send, and a few minutes later, my phone Rang. It was Mike, letting me know his father had just passed away a few minutes before. Rest easy Frenchy—the battles over. Thank you for your service and years of sacrifice. You will not be forgotten. Your son told me earlier today: Heroes get remembered, Legends NEVER die!
