Ive been working on the Wikipedia article on alligator gar, and had to pat myself on the back (since Im currently alone on the island) for seeing what was coming back when I first produced the PBS documentary on alligator gar, (which by the way was the #1 rated program during the July sweeps for 2 years in a row). Today, the state resource agencies in MO, TN, AR, KY, IL, AL, MS, TX, OK, & LA have partnered up in restoration and management activities for this species.
