Ive begun sneaking amoxil into the food I am giving the battered feral tomcat that has been joining our deckcats for meals. Ive gotten two doses down him. His leg looks better already (I think, it may just be my imagination) and his ear doesnt look any worse. I have been able to pet him some; tonight I tried slipping a hand under his belly to see if maybe hed let me lift him (so as to stuff him in a carrier and take him to the vet) and he gave me SUCH a look from his one eye! I didnt push it. Tomorrow I will try again. He smells like an outhouse; he is so dirty and so battered and I feel so awful for him.
