Ive changed my focus from outlining The Absence of Heat to An Owl in the Rose Bush. Both are Mythos books, but An Owl in the Rose Bush is a volume of four short stories, connecting the under-developed Olivia Harrel to the Mythos Universe, through a fallen goddess and their interactions with The Cyber Furies, the gods of the 21st century. Since it needs to be released first (Olivia Harrel is introduced in The Box and what It Contained), it made more sense to work on this. Its my first attempt at horror, in the Mythos Universe. Prologue: The Thin Line between Craziness and Sanity Story One: In which Olivia Harrel has an interesting encounter in downtown Cleveland. Story Two: The world-wide-web is explored, and Arachni is introduced (weeeee!!!!!!!) Story Three: Shadows are stolen, and files are defragmented. Story Four: The goddess and the identity crisis. I dont think I need to tell you how excited I am to write this!! Its dark and nasty, with lots of pain, misery, and hopelessness, but a nice ending. I havent really decided whether or not I should kill Olivia Harrel at the end. I dont need her after this book, and thats a dangerous place for my characters to be in. However, I kind of have a crush on her... I might keep her around, in case I develop something in the future.
