Ive come a long way this year. Just a year ago I was kicking out my unfaithful boyfriend of 2 years and choosing a different major in college, nervous about such a drastic change. Since then, Ive found the love of my life who encourages me and helps me work towards my life goals. Ive absolutely thrived in college with my new major and now know that this is what I want to do in my life as a career. Ive met amazing new friends and gained the support of teachers. Im planning an overseas trip that will further my journey of self-discovery as well as help me touch the lives of others in a way that I now know is possible to me. It took me 24 years to feel like I can actually do something in this world. I want to thank all my friends and family for supporting me and helping me, in any quantity of measurement, become the strong, independent person that I am and am still becoming.
