Ive come to the conclusion that the largest problem today with computer network security is that those who make the systems which implement it make them too complicated. The systems must be simple enough for those who deploy and use them to have enough of an understanding that they arent misconfigured or misused, but this is rarely the case these days. The complexity of todays security systems almost always leaves plenty of cracks through which a determined adversary can enter.
