Ive counted around 45-50 key links under the car being bushes, bearings, ball joints, mounts, and brakes that will need attention sooner than later if I am to get that near new car feel back in the coming months. It feels fairly sloppy, has certain vibrations and a shimmy under braking in its current condition.... having been under the car it looks like most of these parts are original items well past their service life. While other stuff has been taken care of it seems some of these parts havent. I will start with the engine mounts, get a bush kit from Taplin, steering rack bushes, skim or replace the brake rotors / replace the pads, then look into the more difficult parts like ball joints, wheel bearings etc. Guess this means putting the exhaust work and possible manual conversion on hold for a fair while, given they arent necessary!
