Ive decided to go on a personal mission to expose, eradicate and eliminate all form of weakness.... especially in the thought process. Due to the spirit of manipulation and the need to present self in an elevated light many of us have a distorted understanding of what leadership, authority, submission, trust, honor, loyalty, love and respect is and have no real clue of what it looks like. The ability to twist or hide the truth so self can be placed in an expert of what is right position has been going on for centuries and unfortunately.... gurus, experts and master leaders of ALL THINGS still exist. Lets take a look at a biblical example of how these fakers operate: Luke 13:10-17 NKJV Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.” The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him. WHAT do you see here? 1. Location (Synagogue..the place of worship, prayer, forgiveness of sin and healing). 2. Timing (On the Sabbath... the day/time when no customary work could/should be done). 3. Who was present: -(Leaders/Priest/Teachers who supposed to govern and provide deliverance and wholeness and healing) -(The crowd/people who are being lead and the woman with a need.... we travel through life with infirmities, sickness, bruised emotions, and longing spirits) -(Jesus... the person who had a relationship with God, understood his power/authority and purpose as life giver/healer/deliver) Jesus used a woman to demonstrate love, freedom, faith and truth while exposing the heart and motive of the coward of a synagogue leader. *In the midst of the crowd and synagogue teaching he saw the need of this woman. *He met her need and immediately she was touched by his authority and impact of his purpose....he healed her. He wasnt concerned with rules and legalistic way of doing things but only wanted her to be released from the attack of the enemy and restored to her upright position. *He exposed the hypocrisy/motive of the synagogue leader by showing him that he cared more about his own ox or donkey (means of plowing land and/or transportation in order to accumulate resources or travel) and lack the dedication and love for the people whom God had place under his care.... for the sake of looking righteous and holy. 2. Positioning. The woman came to the synagogue on the right day to receive her healing from the one who could heal her. She obtained freedom from the very thing that had her bond. (Bent over in an un-leveled; unwhole position) 3. Response when weakness/ineffectiveness is exposed. The leader became indignant and was upset with Jesus but was a coward and didnt have the courage to address Jesus directly but instead turn to the crowd... I dont know about you but any man that can only meet my needs when the conditions are within the right guidelines or cant face the source of his indignation cant lead me anywhere especially not to a place of freedom, purpose and healing! My point.... leadership, honor, loyalty, authority, love and respect are shown in the actions. There will be tangible results of power and strength and not make believe wishes wrapped in rules that keep you bound to their mercy. Enjoy your day Family!
