Ive decided to run with it, not to run from it. To forget all the stress, handle my own shit, I cant keep giving my energy for free I cant keep putting off the dreams in me Just to climb up mountains, to slip back down, To Swim the entire oceans, but on dry land I drown Drowning in thoughts of stress, No pause button to press Not giving anything my best, Failing all lifes test, Those days are sands passed, Through my hourglass, Getting off my ass, This too shall pass, Ill be my own light, I AM MY OWN LIGHT! Guide myself through the darkest nights, Do what I feel is right, Put the negatives out of sight, This is my life, This is MY LIFE! My pen be my knife, I am my guide, I hold all my own answers on the inside, That weak me is dead, A new me lives instead, I will succeed in time, You worry about yours, Ill worry about mine.
