Ive done so much listening in my yrs of nursing, yes listening. That I find it so rude when someone calls you and asks how things are going, then after you begin to explain, they get bored with you, and say ok, ok, I get it, I really do!!! Leaving you to say ok then, next subject, and all you give are one or two word answers. Especially after You have spent many hours listening to them! It just amazes me to no end! Not only that, but it takes the joy out of your next call! I dont care if it takes too long for me to get to the point, since some of your best calls have no reality to them. I dont appreciate rude from anyone. Im not ever rude to you, ever! Youve always had my utmost attention! But when you ask about something that needs a long explanation, I deserve the respect of you listening, not cutting me off, and making me feel like what Im sayin isnt all that important. After all, you called, and you asked. I deserve to explain my things, my way. So, when I now say, things are fine, or good, dont dig. Its not worth my breath, and apparently is too annoying for you to hear. So dont tell me to try again. Just leave it at, its fine, if thats what I said.
