Ive enjoyed reading the posts with numbers and learning about people, but I was careful not to like any, but then I just couldnt help myself on LeAnn Garrett Johnsons and then she gave me 13, not 6 or 7 or even 9, but 13. So, here it goes: 1. I have preached in three other countries - Brazil, Romania, and Germany. 2. My first child only weighed 2 lbs 14ozs when she was born and she was 12 weeks early. 3. My first black eye came when I was four or five while I was wrestling with a neighbor kid older than me. Then he punched me in the eye. 4. My last one came in high school during basketball. Thanks a lot David Dutton. 5. I preached my first sermon when I was 15. 6. I preached my first revival when I was 17. 7. I got called perfect by my classmates in middle school because I made As and didnt get in trouble. Some of them are still my friends on FB. 8. I was recently elected 1st vice-president of the Minnesota-Wisconsin Baptist Convention. 9. I didnt shoot my first deer until I was 43. 10. I earned my State Farmer Degree in FFA while I was in high school. I still look up to and admire Mr. Curry, our adviser. 11. My first broken bone didnt happen until this past summer. The worst part it was the second day of vacation. 12. I am a Native Texan and Im proud of that, but every time I drive into Stephens County, OK I feel like Ive gone home. 13. I married the most beautiful woman in the world whom I met either in the cafeteria at OBU or at church. Our first date was at 10:30 on a Friday night to Wendys for a coke. Next month we will be married 25 years.
