Ive fought for my relevancy before...Ive played the back to folks who knew I could hold front better...Ive been told that the very math of my throat does not make sense for what I do...Ive been told that if I dont loose the clothes I will loose my shot...watched crews try to position me token as opposed to maven...watched those with tiny road blocks forget that our scene is straight SEGREGATED on a gender basis, and where they experience road blocks, I experience full on shut outs... WHICH IS WHAT LETS ME KNOW... ...that this is so completely fully unabashedly MY CALLING...CREATIVELY CONNECTING IS MY CALLING!!...if I could quit, I would have...if my heart would stop lurching melodies and birthing myths, I would close my mouth...my muses seek NO PERMISSION save Gods... I cant ask to be here...cause I am here...and thats the ONLY fact I know...with that my peace be still #BlessedDoBe
