Ive found this week a very hectic (and sometimes stressful) one,,,,trying to get back into the early morning school runs, pick ups and all the evening activities starting up again. I feel as if I havent sat down all week!!! Sound familiar?? ....over and over again God keeps reminding me to take time for Him, rest in Him and be still. This morning I read the little devotional Jesus Calling (at 6.30am while making 3 packed lunches!!) it was, once again, just what I needed to hear and I know God was speaking to me. This is a little extract from the devotion.... Receive my Peace, it is my continual gift to you. The best way to receive this gift is to sit quietly in my Presence, trusting me in every area of your life. Quietness and trust accomplish far more than you can imagine........spending time alone with Me can be a difficult discipline because it goes against the activity addiction of this age. You may appear to be doing nothing, but actually you are participating in battles going on within spiritual realms I really pray you find God speaking to you today, remember He is in control.....take time, rest in Him and be still Patricia x
