Ive got a good one for ya this morning. I just finished feeding and watering the flock. I put a fresh bowl of water and starter feed in the large coop #2 for the new mommy and found a duck egg on the floor of the coop. Yes you read that right a duck egg. I dont even have a female duck, they were all killed last month by a ground predator, and we only have 2 drakes left. So where did this duck egg come from? Yes I am positive they are both drakes, I watched them all last summer and this spring mating with the duck hens, and they both have curly tails. So now I have a mystery on my hand, all be it a funny one.
