Ive got the most precious custom order to share with you! I was contacted a few weeks ago to consider doing a piece of art for two sisters. It was a surprise birthday present from sister #1 to sister #2. Sister #1 shared with me of how they lost their mom to cancer when they were in high school. She said, My mom was a woman who LOVED Jesus, and the last 48 hours of her life, when she knew she was dying, were the most beautiful testimony -- the hope of a woman who wanted to beat cancer, but embraced Gods timing for her homecoming. Inspite of the knowledge that she was dying, she never said goodbye to Juli or to me. She told us Let everyone know: Keep Christ centered in your heart. So those were her last words she left with her girls. Now it has become the motto of their lives. Through marriages and growing families they cling to Jesus and make Him centered while letting everyone know that HE is their hope. I had the privilege of delivering this piece of art to Sister #2 because Sister #1 lives states away. Ringing the doorbell and seeing her face as she took in her moms words was truly a joy of my heart. We both were teary and overcome. Now both sisters will hang these in their homes as they remember their momma loved them enough to show them how to cling to Jesus even in their last breaths. Im so thankful I got to be a part of this surprise!
