Ive gotta share my testimony!! Was sitting in panera parkong lot eating my lunch when a lady walks up to my window and starts talking to me. Scared me half to death and made me feel dumb because i had a big bite in my mouth lol! So she says she was helping her son move up in kent and is driving back to PA to her home and she was out of gas. She said shes a nurse who has never had financial issues but her husband who she is separated from froze her bank accounts. She called the police and warren police came and told her there was nothing they could do and referred her to the family mission. They only do food, clothes, and shelter but she needed gas so she was walking up and down the strip on elm road begging for money. Everybody else would roll up their window or cuss at her and go away, but she didnt think she was scary looking because she was a christian. So here i am listening to this lady and all thats running thru my head is this lady is nuts. Im gonna give her cash and shes gonna buy cigarettes or something. Shes gotta be lying to me. And God smote my heart so bad and said here you are casey, sitting here listening to k-love christian music, and youre gonna judge her and not help her.... So i took a deep breath after she stopped talking and told her to follow me to the BP. The whole 2 second drive praying over and over Lord please let this be true and help me shine your light. Please keep me safe if im doing your will. So i parked, walked over to her car, and put some gas in. After it was done pumping, she said thank you over and over. I shook her hand and said wait before you go, you said you were a christian, so could you tell me what you believe? She did, then asked what i believed. So i told her! Lol! I got to explain repentance, baptism is jesus name, and the holy ghost! I gave her some scripture to look up and read. Then we left. Sooo...long story coming to an end! My after thoughts are this. I dont care if she was lying to me because some things indicated she was. I dont care if she lives here, kent, or PA. People are going to read this and say youre crazy?! Why would you do that? Being a young girl by herself in warren?! But i dont care! If the lord is for us, who can be against us? Whom shall i fear? I got to witness and talk about jesus, and that in itself makes this yucky day good! Praise the Lord, thank you Jesus!
