Ive gotten some pretty nice press recently. Been mentioned in USA Today, Under the Radar, lots of great blogs, done interviews, etc. But I still cant seem to get that many people in my hometown of Austin to give a shit about what I do. Im convinced that this is due to my lack of a cool haircut. The people who do listen to me, though, like what I do quite a lot, and dont seem to be going anywhere. This, I think, is the advantage to making the kind of stuff I make. It touches deeply. If anyone reading this were interested in proving my bad-haircut hypothesis wrong by offering me to play their SXSW showcase, I would be extremely grateful. Its a hair-able situation to find myself in.
