Ive gotten to know this man, this family, the people in this campaign - statewide. It was an honor to be a part of this team. The Primary Election may be over, but Ive been working round the clock to thank people across the state who not only gave of their time and talent, but their hearts and souls. The sentiment is overwhelming as I speak to them. Every time I think Im going to take a nap, another phone call or text message gives me a burst of energy. Its a beautiful thing - Aloha - and I still well up in tears at what just happened. David Ige made a very profound statement that now has legs to stand on. Strong ones. Elections cant (and dont need to) be bought. Grassroots. (Nuff said - think about the network of roots that are actually underneath that grass in the park - thats this campaign) The spirit of teamwork, leadership, and making sure that everything we do is for the people of Hawaii first is what really counts in the end.
