Ive had a few less-than-positive experiences lately with people approaching me for professional feedback. In the hopes of curbing that trend in the future, a brief disclaimer: To anyone who may in the future reach out to me in a professional capacity, requesting my feedback/perspective/input/assessment/opinion, please take into account my area of expertise. I reserve the right to withhold comment on anything which isnt within the scope of my field: the study of consciousness. I do not know everything, I wont pretend to know everything, and I certainly wont make shit up just to have a placeholder opinion on something. I place high value on personal integrity, and therefore must be confident in anything I choose to endorse. If one desires analysis or a professional opinion: do your research, do your homework. Find out who, and in what field, has the applicable, professional expertise your inquiry requires. This is one of the key skills required of being a professional yourself, no matter what your field.
