Ive had a few people tell me that they have only seen Vote No on 92 so I wanted to share some resources for the vote yes side.... https://youtube/watch?v=IGNZMJHSIE0 (30 second TV ad - Michael Hansen of the Consumers Union) https://youtube/watch?v=I6kfmLw6zhk (30 second TV ad - Oregon Farmers say vote Yes) https://youtube/watch?v=oKOKg0XCOY0 (5 minute - great interviews with people all over Oregon - worth the time if you are unsure) oregonrighttoknow.org/myths/ Official website - Myths Debunked (Labeling Genetically Engineered Foods Will NOT Hurt Farmers, Will NOT Increase the Cost of Food, There are NO exemptions. All raw and packaged foods sold in stores must disclose if they were produced with genetic engineering, just like they are in 64 other countries.) Please vote! Your vote matters! This measure could go either way depending on who votes and what ads they have seen. Please pass this information on! Yes on 92 is a grassroots campaign made up of consumers and we just dont have millions of dollars to spend on advertising so we need to spread the truth by word of mouth. Vote No supporters are BIG companies like PepsiCo and Monsanto. These companies care about making money and they are running a disinformation campaign. Dont let them fool Oregon. Would you trust these companies to advocate for your rights or your health? This is a non-partisan issue - so dont be afraid to talk about it. This is about more than just the current GMO food/ processes which which may be good or bad. Doesnt matter. We have a right to know and make decisions for ourselves. Isnt that what a free market is all about? For supply and demand to work properly you NEED good information. ...Companies LOVE to put good things on their product labels... Why are they fighting so hard to hide this? We need everyones help to spread the truth. America is depending on us. Bonus fact: A few months ago, a piece of federal legislation was introduced now known as the DARK (Deny Americans the Right to Know) ACT. If passed, the bill—written by the Biotech Bullies and Big Food—will strip your state of the right to pass a GMO labeling law. Our best—and quite possibly only—hope of defeating this bill is for voters in Oregon and Colorado to pass Measure 92 - Organic Consumers Association
