Ive had a few weeks to clear my mind. Random thoughts post for tonight: -Ive been able to sit at the feet of a great gospel preacher once again (Glenn Hawkins), which reminds me again of why I chose and love what I do. -I have often thought of giving up. My wife has encouraged me continually not to let whatever ability God gave me go to waste. Almost every time I was feeling burnt out, God gave me reasons to keep going that squashed my narrow-minded and selfish view. -Preachers are rapidly falling out of service by death, sin, lack of religious zeal in our nation leading to a closing of church doors, burn out, etc. -Those who are preaching need to expend every energy possible to restore the integrity of the pulpit once again. Men of character and conviction need to stand and proclaim GODS truth without fear of other men. -To those of you who go out of your way to encourage us, and pray for us regularly: thank you so very much. It is a much, much higher honor to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ than to be ruler of a nation.
