Ive had a really discouraging day (mostly first world problems which are accompanied by guilt since Im so aware of how the third world lives). I decided to read Amazon reviews of my book (yes, a desperate, self-indulgent, pick-me-up to remind me my words matter) But this one encouraged and reminded me to have faith-- I thought I was picking up a book to inspire me to do great things for God, through stories of her missions overseas. It has been that, and oh, so much more. Marriage advice, parenting tips, how to have meaningful friendships, how to say YES to God in the small things of life. No, this is not your typical missionary biography. Its a book about faith. And the huge piece of chocolate cake didnt hurt either.
