Ive had an awesome amount of friends and family asking whats up with my son in law Patrick... A few Days ago Patrick suffered severe brain injuries as a result of a fall. The trauma to the brain consisted of two brain bleeds, a fractured sinus cavity bone, and a severe concussion. He was released from the hospital but is being ordered by the army to NOT leave the area of a 50 mile radius around fort Gordon) Which sucks considering he still needs 24 hour care and is not able to take care of himself at this time. so as most of you prolly know the masters tournament starts here on the 6th and our hotel rate skyrockets to an event rate of 600. Per night. With all that said you also prolly know we have family 2 hours away in Hilton head where we could stay while Patrick recovers free of charge, however the army finds it necessary to hold us hostage here, so to speak in Augusta ga. Regardless of the fact that my son in law is of no benefit to the army whatsoever in his current condition. He is however, making progress and we are told that recovery for this sort of serious injury is slow. We very much appreciate all of the prayers, thoughts, and well wishes and have set up an event page for all of you to receive updates and leave your thoughts and/or comments. If you have not gotten a reply from us please know it is only because we seem to have our hands full at the moment fighting with the govt to be able to care for one of our most valued family members...
