Ive had it with Kansas and its state legislature, and Im especially ashamed of the way lawmakers think they can get back at the education system for simply asking them to fulfill their LEGAL OBLIGATION to fund Kansas schools. Instead of simply following the court order, they do so but also remove due process from teachers in the state. Im particularly ashamed of Senator Jeff King, who instead of acknowledging a motion to postpone the vote to continue debate on another day, ruled the motion out of order so that republicans can railroad this through. Kansas politics has killed my faith in the future of this state time and time again, and unless something changes Im not sure I really want to stay here. Which is a damn shame because Kansas doesnt have to die like it is.
