Ive had one of the happiest moments is my life today. I did well with my film HIBANA this past weekend and I wanted to know what part of the U.S. it was coming from. Im new to parts of Vimeo and I found where to do the geographical search of who has viewed the film and this picture came up. Im not an emotional guy like that but my eyes got a little watery. All the stuff Ive been through in the last 5 years both good and bad hasnt been for nothing. In three weeks my first film has been seen across almost the entire globe. A friend told me that it probably hasnt played as much in Africa because of internet access, so just by having a film Im able to see a need in the world. This is truly a humbling experience, especially being a first time independent filmmaker. When Gd is with you it doesnt matter if people are against you. Glad the world is with me!
