Ive had so many convos with woman lately who approach and tell me their hair is natural, but they never wear their hair, preferring wigs or weaves because they dislike their own texture its too tight) or say,I just cant wear my hair like that, indicating my Afro or twist out or whatever. You know what? Thats ok. Your process is your own and at the end of it, you may not love your hair just as you came in the world or you may return to a perm or live in wigs/weaves and that is still ok. For whatever factors into why you feel that way, ranging from internalized self hate to your simple preference, thats ok. You have to love what you see/feel/do; my opinion matters not. And for the record, my opinion is simply if you like it, I love it. #doyou
