Ive had some interesting shopping encounters these past few days. Today at Brothers, I tried to convince a novice wanna be snake owner that a Carpet Python (think ill tempered loose garden hose running wide open with about 60+ teeth like rose thorns) may not be the ideal first reptile. He, of course gave me the WTF ever look and promptly bought his new prize. I wish I could be the fly one the wall when he gets home to open the box to cuddle with his new pet. The first time I put on bunker gear and charged a line, I hinged on every word my experienced officer told me. The first time I flew a plane, my instructor had my full attention....apparently that logic is lost on new kids.
