Ive had some of the strangest days of my life (or at least isolated incidents) consecutively over the last 5. Hopefully they slow down a bit. One of the more interesting incidents was having a car crash happen on 12th ave on Saturday evening, that basically reverberated my bedroom window like a tympanum. It took me longer than I would like to grab my little first aid kit, and run out. As things turned out there were no major injuries, and I just put on my hi vis vest and used a push broom borrowed from a neighbour to clear class from the other lanes so as to not have passing cars get flats, etc. Seriously, looking at it, I want more training relevant to automobile incidents, etc, and all that I had that would have been use if it had been critical might have been my pocket mask, an abdominal pad, and triangular bandages. Definitely, as I have mentioned to some, I want to assemble a critical interventions kits that I can comfortably carry with me at all time. Oral pharyngeal airways are near the top of the list, could other, more experienced first aiders, etc, make suggestions for other low volume, easy to carry supplies? Robert Walters, Michael Doucette, Sema NoEnbridge, Chadwick Green, Ian Bob (add anyone you know that I might have missed, who might have input, please)
