Ive have been dealing with a few health and personal issues the past few months, as some of you already know, which is why Ive not been posting so much. I found out yesterday that my prostate cancer is at a Stage 3 (I scored a 9 on the Gleason Test- you dont want a high number, trust me) and has spread into my pelvic lymph nodes, which makes it a bit tricky to treat. Surgery to remove the prostate was the plan until this latest news. So the doctor has placed me on hormone therapy (Lupron) for the next 6 months and regular PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood testing and monitoring my general health. The good news is my bone scan came in clear and my kidneys are par excellent! There are other health issues and concerns that are in play too, but I wont go into that. Keep me in your prayers/healing thoughts as I do when prompted from you. Im in a new living environment that is very healing and supportive, which makes a huge difference in addressing my mental health issues.
