Ive heard about them for years, but I just stumbled across some of their music for the first time about a week ago: The Mars Volta. These guys have quickly become one of my all-time favorites. Theyve got a crazy mix of Pink Floyd-esque psychedelic rock, math rock, and free jazz, with a strong sense of Led Zeppelin permeating the entire enterprise.
