Ive heard of the tightening up on immigration laws, but did not have the opportunity to examine this Bill C-24 this year until just today. Which is now law. It is telling me that Canada now has a two tier system regarding her citizenship. It is telling me that I am a 2nd tier Citizen that can lose his Canadian citizenship, because citizenship is not a right but a privilege according to our Citizenship and Immigration Minister. A privilege that can now be lost. If you are a Canadian citizen with a dual citizenship or even with a possibility of being a dual citizen, then your citizenship is at peril. Bill C-24 had the Royal Assent since this summer and is now law, but there are those that feel otherwise.
