Ive just got back from taking a sullen young man to the local town to continue his travels. He refused an offer of breakfast when we got there, but I guess by his actions that no-one has ever reacted to his attitude in the way that I have. There are always two sides to every story, and Im sure that I will be the evil old man when he recounts his visit to my hovel. Interesting that Dace, Aigars wife (who is a psychologist) told me that she didnt like him and was glad when she heard that he had gone (I bumped into her at a Saturday morning market.) I am sure we have all been guilty of putting up with someone that we dont like or who makes us uncomfortable, just to keep the peace. I know that I used to. And, I am sure that there are people out there that dont like me or my attitude. But, these days I see no reason to continue to put up with something that affects my life in a negative manner, so when I can deal with it I will. This instance was clearly a non-runner from the start, and the way he pushed the Gaz issue was the trigger for my deciding it was pointless to continue. On a selfish point I had no desire to deplete my foodstock to a person I neither liked nor wanted to be around. Why should I have to live an unhappy life? I chose this lifstlyle to live my own way, without impacting on others, and not wanting others to impact on me. Anyway, its all over now, hes on route to wherever he is going to, Im home, drinking coffee and contemplating my next shopping trip. Oh, and the pistol is back in the safe..... ;)
