Ive just had a man at my front door asking to read my meters, he had no appointment and bareing in mind liberty gas and brittish gas have just carried out all my readings, safety checks ect in last three weeks. I asked who he was with twice and he wouldnt ans me just kept saying i need to read your meters, Ill only be in two mins I questioned him over and over and told him Ive recently had all my checks and readings done in the last three weeks, he also asked if I was a new Tennant, he wouldnt produce any ID or tell me who he worked for, I told him to go away and make an appointment with me, he wouldnt just kept saying well Im here I can do it all now, Ill only be two mins I told him no twice and the second time he said so I Carnt come in? I said no again and he walked away, no work vehicle, wearing a dark fleece, Ive informed my landlord who said no one should have been here and I have posted it on the irwell valley page. Be cautious guys
