Ive just heard the dreadful news that Community Transport charity CTLA has been broken into overnight in Hillcrest Road, Newhaven, two minibuses were targeted and the catalytic converters stolen. This has resulted in trips being cancelled and the isolated people we support being let down - but we are ensuring all essential support, food and healthcare, reaches those most in need. If anyone was around the Hillcrest Centre last night and noticed anything suspicious, please contact the Police on 101. Even with insurance, the excess and alternative arrangements will take vital funds from the work we are undertaking and the benefits to vulnerable people in the community.
