Ive just joined this group because I believe that I, as did many Barbadians, turned a blind eye to what we all knew was going on! The fire came long after the rape an plunder of our most historical treasure. My questions are.... What is this group about? What is the group trying to achieve? Can we demand through petitions, the re-construction of the Castle itself? Hunt down some of the original art and antiques that were sold and sent off this island? Do we know any benefactors who can help reclaim some of these most precious items? What are the views from The National Trust at this time? How can I help? Irrespective of who gets Sam Lords, the Castle belongs to the people of Barbados. We can not change the past but with commitment, strength in numbers and a positive goal, we can help shape the future.
