Ive just passed the 1 year mark of being a crossfitter, and I am - TopicsExpress

Ive just passed the 1 year mark of being a crossfitter, and I am very happy with the progress Ive made. I think Im lucky to be a part of a box with caring, well educated coaches, as it seems that not every box has that same scenario. While it is disturbing that you can become crossfit certified in a weekend, you can also get reiki, a personal training certificate, first aid, gourd drum making, crepe-and-waffle batter, and a motorcycle license in the same time period. Its not really about the amount of time the certification takes - its about the dedication to being serious and academic in your approach. Ive yet to injure myself seriously. I am sore the next day. Im stronger. Im more flexible. I have more energy. I still hate burpees. I can run more than 63 feet without panting. I plan to continue, but its always healthy to see the other side. She makes some good points, but she loses me a couple of times (I dont do deadlifts, and linking a WebMD article), and she makes a lot of sweeping, generalized statements. erinsimmonsfitness.me/2014/04/17/why-i-dont-do-crossfit/
