Ive just posted a Happy New Year announcement on the DART : Dumfries Art Trail page, bit late I know ;) Some of you, especially those in Dumfries or nearby, might not realise that an Art Trail even exists. At the moment its a small affair, last year we linked in with Guid Nychburris and hosted a Treasure Hunt to raise awareness and to give hattered parents something to offer their kids in between parades! Weve lost a few members (Opulence Gifts closed last year and Ottersburn Gallery is closing) but we have requests for membership, which is great! The map is available from VisitScotland, who have been very supportive on the initiative, or from any venue listed on the map - or, better still, you can download a copy from our Facebook page or our website dumfriesarttrail.wordpress or some of us have download links on our websites!
