Ive just realised that what I really do when I work with people is simply show them who they really are (and you know, when you see whats real, the unreal kind of dissolves. The illusion dissipates). Im quite simply very good at being a mirror (sometimes, when I choose to be. When I have the courage, perhaps). Im going to stop calling myself a Healer - Ive finally found a better word. From now on when people ask me what do you do, Ill say: Im a reflector! Reminds me of a party I was at years ago, when I started teaching yoga. There was this hot looking girl, and I started talking to her - she immediately asked what do you do?. I said, (proudly), Im a yoga teacher. And a look I can only describe as contemptuous disappointment spread over her face before she moved on without wasting time over niceties. (I think she was hunting for a doctor or a banker or something. Good luck to her, hope she found what she needed). I wonder how she would have reacted if Id said Im a reflector!
