Ive just started reading Mick Fleetwoods autobiography, Play On: Now, Then, and Fleetwood Mac, and Ive come across my first fascinating fact. Fleetwood credits his unique drumming style to severe dyslexia and says other drummers think hes joking or mad when he tries to explain his approach to the instrument. Dyslexia has absolutely tempered the way I think about my instrument and the way Ive played my instrument, or any other for that matter, and thats the long and short of it.
