Ive kept my mouth shut...Thought over and over about how to be polite about this...I just decided Im gonna be blunt bc I do that best. Today my ex wife asked for my blessing to date my best friend,who was my best man at my wedding...WTF...Youre grown...Make your own decisions...While I appreciate the respect behind this,I really dont give a damn. Just understand my friend Ive spent two years keeping her out of my life..Just because youre with her thats not going to change..I love you..Youre my brother,and as long as youre happy Im gonna be happy for you. Im just gonna do it from as far away as possible...If you ever NEED me Ill be there, but dont expect me to go out of my way to meet up for,well,anything. Best wishes to the both of you... This isnt me burning a bridge,bc this is a 13 year long friendship,but you chose to be with someone I cut from my life with good reason...Consider it instead a lengthening of said bridge...Its now so long that there has to be a true sense of urgency in order for me to cross it.
