Ive known for years how cruel sheep shearing is. And how excruciating reaping goose down is. Ive seen foie gras in the making; how they throw the ducks in a pile to suffocate when they start pooing blood! Ive picked up little foals at the abattoir and taken them home in sacks after the mothers have been kicked in the stomach to abort them before they are butchered...........all for the sake of humans with woolly jerseys, soft pillows and duvets, expensive delicacies, tinned pet food, etc., etc. Have you seen a pig or a cow strung up by its hock with a thick steel hook before it has its throat cut, for the convenience of the butcherer; just so that you can enjoy a piece of crispy bacon or a rump steak!!!! IS IT WORTH IT??? And then some human carnivore will grumble if his sausages are porky or his steak is tough!!! I ask you..........after what that poor animal had to go through!!! Are humans ever satisfied and are they, if they are honest, absolutely dependent on the products made from mistreating animals; or could they, if they really cared.............make a plan to utilise man made textiles, fabrics and fibres; eat God given delicious fruits, vegetables, nuts and pulses, etc., etc., etc., etc.! ............MANY DO!!! And lastly.........if you love animals, why do you eat them? The only difference between a pig and a dog is that a pig is 10 times more intelligent than a dog!!!
