Ive like so many lists that I almost feel I have to do it again. I got 10 from my favorite inspirational speaker. 1. Every time I read or reread a novel by Maeve Benchy, I have an uncontrollable urge to catalog her characters. Many of them appear in small parts in one novel and a big part in another or vice versa. 2. I dont like to get my hands dirty. If I feel like I cant wash them, I will hesitate. 3. I realized tonight that Im really going to miss seeing my Guard family as often as I did before Markus Lueder Genannt Luehr retired. 4. Ive never learned how to put on makeup beyond lipstick. I doubt I ever will. 5. Every night, it takes me 30 minutes-one hour to put the boys to bed. We giggle, snuggle, and discuss their day. I get some of their best quotes during those times. I will continue to do it until they decide theyre too old for it. 6. I am unbelievably squeamish. I cant even help with splinters. 7. I couldnt carry a tune in a bucket, but I can remember lyrics. 8. I am a coffee, gumbo, sausage, and Asian food snob. 9. I will watch anything with Damian Lewis or Matt Damon in it. 10. Markus and I finish a bag of jalapeno kettle chips in one night at least once a week.
