Ive lost my voice for over 10 years now. In the past three its gotten so outta of control I had to say goodbye to my life long dream of singing opera. I didnt know what the hell I was gonna do I was so devastated. So I lost my damn mind and let it destroy my entire life bc of it, almost like a drug addict would except it was over something I loved... Today, after facing my demons for so long and feeling so alone through everything bc this is not a common thing or something that singers talk about due to the constraints and propriety of our society. And so I became a songwriter and decided to live out another life long put away dream of being a badass rockstar to make up for my loss someway somehow. Through all the pain, which I feel very much tody bc I woke up with no voice once again, as I do from time to time, it would mean a lot if all of you that can would come out and show your support tonight at Smiths Olde Bar 9pm. Ive worked very hard to do what I do now and Im pretty proud of what Ive accomplished despite everything... Of course I wish I had the everything I had before and Im still hoping for a miracle one day but until then I will write it in a song. Come out. Thanks.
