Ive made mistakes, people make mistakes! Its been coming up the last few days on Facebook, even on these cute little cartoons Shantae wants to watch! On one side, if youve come to realize you made a mistake, can you own up to it and apologize? Its a humble reminder that we arent perfect in our interactions with others. On the flip side, how do you fare accepting other peoples slip ups? Do you not say anything and stop talking to them? Should they apologize, do you accept their apology? Or do you hold on to resentments toward them anyways? Ultimate peace comes with being able to forgive wholeheartedly. I try not to dwell in the negative but in what I want in the end... a lesson learned (if need be) and peace within. So Im not above saying sorry, I dont just stop talking to anyone without addressing it, and I show compassion should I recieve an apology. Why? Because its a beautiful wheel of reciprocation full of tough, frustrating, and embarassing moments that no one is exempt from! Certainly not me, you, or these cartoon characters Shantae is watching!!! Lol!! In the end we are all responsible for our own actions/reactions ^_^
