Ive made up my mind what Im giving up this year for ash Wednesday, heres to a healthier future!!! For the next 40 days, I will choose to live life differently, love unconditionally, and live each day as if it were my last!! I have so much anger built up inside me, that my walls are becoming impenetrable and Im losing focus on whats important. Then after that 40 days is up, I will go another 40 days doing the same thing and another and another and another. Giving up material things is easy when i have them. When i have nothing left to give but myself, i realize that what I portray on the outside is not necessarily who I am on the inside. Jesus didnt fast for 40 days and 40 nights because he ate too much, he did it to resist the the temptations by Satan and to become more in tune spiritually with himself and God. I have lost my way from traditionalism because I didnt want to be like everyone else. If you seek the truth, it may already be in front of you yet are you taking the time to really understand what the Spirits are saying to you? Open up your mind, open up your heart but most of all open up your eyes!! Change is the key to everything, dont be afraid to take risks!
