Ive managed to pass all my subjects pretty well. Considering how awful this past semester has been, its a pretty big miracle. Studying full-time while working and being involved in activism is difficult enough, but having to do all of this while suffering from anxiety and PTSD AND taking while dealing with your institutions shitty management of your rape case is a whole other level. I would not have been able to manage this past semester without the amazingly supportive people in my life. Thanks to those of you who offered your support in any way: those who snuggled with me in the library when I was sad, helped me with tuts, handed in my essays when I was too scared to leave my flat, encouraged me to take self-care breaks, or in any way helped me feel less alone. Especially Stuart Thembisile Lewis, Michelle Solomon, Dela Buhle Gwala, Lachrista Greco, Candice Michelle Goddard, Colin Besaans, Avashni Naidoo, TNielle Haupt and Amy Mackintosh. I appreciate you all. Thank you for making surviving a little easier.
